Join us for a Free Neighborhood Concert in Verizon Hall, presented in partnership with the Kimmel Center, Inc.
Principal Guest Conductor Stéphane Denève leads a program featuring works by Bernstein, Berlioz, and Ravel, which will be live-streamed on philorch.org, continuing the Orchestra’s expansion of community offerings that take its musicians into the lives of music-lovers throughout the Philadelphia region, and across the globe.
This program will be LiveNote enabled, allowing audience members to access custom-created information about the performed musical works through the mobile app, which follows along with the music in real time, presenting musical, emotional, and historical highlights. There will also be free pre-show performances on the stage in Commonwealth Plaza courtesy of the Kimmel Center. Guests are invited to come early, bring a picnic, and enjoy a memorable evening of live jazz, and more fantastic free entertainment.
The concert is free but tickets are required, and are available beginning July 21, 2015, at 10 AM.
Please note that free tickets do not guarantee seating. Seating is general admission and first come, first served.
